Was internet and mobile internet a scam? Who would have thought it wasn’t?

“I told them the internet was here to stay back when not many people believed me. Some scoffed, but it kept growing and is still growing today. The same thing is happening with the “internet of things” – it was a multitrillion-dollar opportunity and many internet companies are now worth over a trillion dollars (e.g. Apple, Amazon, Facebook, Google, Uber).”

What makes cryptocurrency the next booming technology and more explosive than the internet?

“Cryptocurrencies present not just a trillion-dollar opportunity, but one that could potentially reach hundreds of trillions – even a quadrillion dollars. This might sound absurd but there’s a logical explanation behind it. All we have to do is ask ourselves, “What is the demand for money?”
When we include derivative instruments in our calculation, we quickly realize that the demand for money is actually in the quadrillions. That’s how much money is truly out there in the world. Therefore, it stands to reason that cryptocurrencies have the potential to tap into this vast pool of wealth.”
