What are the biggest challenges of interracial marriage?
The biggest challenges of interracial marriage are the same as with any marriage. You have to learn to communicate with each other, support each other, and forgive each other. You have to get used to being with someone 24/7, even when you want to be alone. You have to navigate around each other’s stuff, both physical and emotional. You have to learn to trust each other because you are both in the process of letting go of yourself and stepping into a new family. And you have to create a new reality for yourself that includes two people instead of just yourself.
