    What did Ann Makosinski invent?

    Ann Makosinski is the inventor of the Hollow Flashlight, which she created as a teenager. The flashlight works by using the heat of the human hand to generate energy. It is made of wood and has a rechargeable battery. At the age of 15, Makosinski won the 2013 Google Science Fair, thanks to her breakthrough invention.

    In 2018, Ann presented her next invention, “eDrink mug”, a mug that converts heat from your drink into an electric current to charge your phone to Jimmy Fallon on the Tonight Show. In the same year, she received four major awards from the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.
